Worthless Checks

Passing of a worthless check may be a crime. If someone has written you a worthless check, please read the front page of the Worthless Check Prosecution Packet below to determine if a crime was committed. The packet must be filled out in its entirety and returned to the Scott County Attorney, if you wish for the prosecutor to consider your case for prosecution.
